Our team was contracted to complete a building-wide replacement of the windows and balcony doors at 170 West End Avenue. The tower, designed by S. J. Kessler & Sons, is part of the Lincoln Towers residential development, located on a 36-acre site in Lincoln Square that includes the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

The project involved replacing 2,617 aluminum windows and 140 balcony doors that were originally installed in 1985. Our team custom-designed outswing over awning windows, complete with interior screen systems, to match the original windows. In addition, we finished all the new windows and doors in a custom specialty color called "Champagne" to match the existing color of the building's windows and doors.

The replacement of the windows and balcony doors not only improved the building's overall appearance, but also enhanced energy efficiency and resident comfort. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the installation process was minimally disruptive to residents while also completing the project on schedule and within budget.
