Our work at the Borough of Manhattan Community College's South Building centered on enhancing the school's cafeteria by introducing five new window bays. Our team worked closely with the school to ensure that the new windows were code-compliant and matched the existing windows at the opposite end of the common area, creating a cohesive and harmonious space.

Our engagement extended to on-site monitoring throughout the construction administration phase. This entailed overseeing the entire process, from the initial demolition to the final installation, guaranteeing that each step adhered to the design and specifications. We also collaborated with another architect who was responsible for an exterior restoration project at the same building, coordinating our work to minimize disruption to the campus.

This project was made possible through a term contract with the City University of New York and the City University Construction Fund, which allowed us to provide cost-effective and efficient design and construction services.
