Craig is a Principal of CTA Architects P.C. and the lead architect for all of the company’s school work. As a Partner, Craig has worked on projects combining experience from both his design and restoration backgrounds and has completed projects that combine disciplines. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Craig’s projects aim to be sensitive to the environment in which they are built and to reduce energy use through material choice and resource consumption. 

Craig’s projects include seven new buildings and seven Universal Pre-Kindergartens with the New York City School Construction Authority. One of the Pre-Kindergartens was certified as a Passive House, the first in the City. His work also includes the design and construction of the Lower Eastside Girls Club, the moderate rehabilitation of the George Hardy and St. Francis Apartments, Haven Plaza, and Grand Street Guild residential complexes, and dozens of other moderate rehabilitations in the City. The Grand Street Guild rehabilitation included the design of a new 1,500-square-foot maintenance building at 17 Pitt Street that the Society of American Registered Architects New York Chapter recognized with the Design Award of Merit in 2016. The Haven Plaza Resiliency project included the design of a new mechanical building that was also awarded the Society of American Registered Architects New York Chapter Award of Merit in 2021 and a National Design Award in 2022.

In addition to his work at CTA, Craig serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the STREB Lab for Action Mechanics (S.L.A.M.), and he is a founding member and President of the Board of the Spring of Hope School, an English language and computer skills facility serving Svay Khleang, Cambodia.
