Linden Court, designed by Andrew J. Thomas and built circa 1919, was the earliest of the large, through-the-block, garden apartment complexes in the Jackson Heights Historic District. The restoration of the windows at Linden Court was a thoughtful and detailed project. The use of aluminum-clad Pella wood windows provided the appearance and character of the original windows while also offering improved performance in terms of energy efficiency, durability, and ease of maintenance.

Adhering to the stringent guidelines of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, our team took great care in every aspect of the project. Custom aluminum brick molds were created to perfectly match the shape and profile of the original wood brick molds. This attention to detail ensured that the new windows seamlessly integrated with the existing architecture, maintaining the historical character of Linden Court. By combining modern materials and techniques with a deep respect for the building's heritage, the restoration of the windows at Linden Court exemplifies a successful balance between preservation and improvement.
