Public School 206Q

The successful completion of the three-story addition to PS 206Q, the pre-kindergarten and elementary school in Rego Park, Queens, is a remarkable achievement, timed perfectly for the 2023 school year.

This expansion project has brought our vision to life, introducing 17 modern classrooms, a vibrant music room, a versatile exercise room, a spacious cafeteria, and a new playground. The newly designed lobby is both accessible and equipped with brand-new elevators that offer a convenient route to all three floors within the combined facility. Every detail has been designed and constructed to meet the exacting standards of the Green Schools Guide, a LEED equivalent program, developed by the New York City School Construction Authority.

Beyond these exciting new spaces, we've dedicated ourselves to rejuvenating the original school. This effort involves a thoughtful renovation of existing areas to ensure seamless connectivity throughout the entire building. A welcoming and inviting new lobby has been established, serving as a central and accessible hub for students, teachers, and visitors.

This project is made possible through our capacity term contract with the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA). We eagerly anticipate the positive and lasting impact these improvements will have on the learning environment for years to come.
