The Edgar Allan Poe School, an iconic civic landmark with a storied history dating back to 1911, holds a special place in the heart of the community it serves. At CTA Architects, we are honored to be part of its preservation and restoration journey.

Our current focus lies in the reconstruction of the historic parapet design, following the guidelines set forth by the State Historic Preservation Office. This crucial step is undertaken to mitigate any potential impacts caused by the ongoing construction of a large addition. Now that the addition has reached its completion, the restoration of the original building is underway.
