St Margaret’s House

St. Margaret's House is a vibrant senior apartment community near the South Street Seaport in lower Manhattan. Our team has converted the previously unused kitchen and dining area within this 20-story apartment building into inviting communal spaces accessible to all residents.

The newly created space boasts a game room, art room, technology room, studio, and event space, promoting inclusivity for adults aged 62 and above, as well as mobility-impaired individuals aged 18 and over. The renovation caters to residents' unique preferences and needs, featuring an expansive open area with a walking track and tiered seating for optimal comfort. Other areas include a reading corner, game zone, dance/yoga studio, residents' lounge, and an art corridor showcasing residents' work. Additionally, a dedicated technology zone offers computer classes, while a green wall adds a touch of natural beauty to this revitalized community hub.
